In the town of Skiathos you can visit Bourtzi, a pine-covered islet where you can see the ruins of the Venetian Fortress built back in the 13th century. You can also enjoy your drink and meal at the coffee bars and the little atmospheric taverns scattered all around the beaches of the island.
Another interesting destination is the Monastery of Evagelistria at the North eastern part of Skiathos which looks like an Agio Oros monastery.
